We’ve had a good run on beautiful days in San Miguel de Allende. The sun was shining particularly bright this afternoon because the Pope was in Guanajuato. He’s probably still there, doing whatever it is the Pope does. I hope he’s talking to somebody about brining more spicy, Mexican cuisine to the catholic church at large. Something like a jalapeƱo communion bread would be neat.
I’m blogging from an ETN bus on the way from San Miguel to Mexico City. The big plan is to head for the Oaxacan mountains and study Spanish– then rendezvous with some special folks at a particular beach near Puerto Escondido. Sounds fun; hope it all goes to, or better than planned. Bet it will.

From the Jardin, head down Hernadez Macias > Left on Calzada de la Luz > Straight across the bridge and up one block to the VG4 Shelter Theater. Or ask a taxi driver to take you to 'San Rafael, Vicente Guerrero #8'
